Hello and a big welcome to the Callan Park Festival website!!!

My name is Shaheena Anvar and I am the Director of Journalism for the Utopia Research

Institute, and over the next few weeks I will be blogging to inform you of some of the highs and lows of the build up to the festival so you are up to date with the event of the year!

This is going to be such an amazing event and all of your support is greatly appreciated!!!

Well so far the Utopia Research Institute has managed to attract over 100 determined interns who are dedicated to making the festival a big success!

The various departments have started working away and doing what they do best, such as the creative team who have done some absolutely beautiful work on the business cards so we just cannot wait until their finished printing and in the palm of your hands!

Remember there are vacancies here and there so if you’re interested please put your hand up and make yourself known to our human resources who will be more than happy to discuss your option of internships!

Now more on the festival!!!!

I can tell you now that one thing I am soooo excited about is the fact that there will be video crews throughout the festival to capture the sensational atmosphere and fun and laughter that will be present on the day.

Not only will there be video, but it will be posted to www.callanparkfestival.com website -worldwide- nonstop, so not a moment is gone unseen!

In case you haven’t heard, the festival will be holding a ‘Glee off’ so for all those schools interested in showing off their singing and dancing talent to thousands of people – get ready to prepare an audition tape to send to us and hope that you will be one of the 24 winners who will be invited to perform their incredible routines live at the festival!
